Before Move-In
We clean the apartment and replace anything missing or used up. When the new tenant arrives, the apartment is ready for occupancy.
The Check-In
During the appointment, we show the tenant the apartment and hand over the keys. Together, we go through the inventory and record any existing defects. We read the meter readings for electricity, water, and gas. Everything is documented in the protocol, which you and the tenant will receive afterward.
During the Rental Period
Tenants call us if something isn’t working. As the landlord, you can reach us as well. We handle minor repairs ourselves; for larger issues, we commission a tradesperson.
The Check-Out
Upon move-out, we take over the apartment from the tenant. We check its condition and whether any inventory is missing. This is followed by a deep cleaning. You and the tenant will again receive a protocol. This provides a basis when it comes to the security deposit.
Why the Protocol is Important
Furnished apartments have more to check than empty ones. Furniture, dishes, and appliances belong to you and should still be there after the rental period. The protocol records what was present at move-in and its condition at move-out.
